SATURDAY a very exciting new #VEGAN project launches in NYC: PLANTEGA! Plantega is putting a fully-vegan fridge in three bodegas - one each in Bushwick, The Bronx, and Cypress Hills - for a 12-week pilot program. If all goes well, the program will expand to other bodegas - especially in areas that are under-served in terms of plant-based foods. The fridges will be stocked with 100% #plantbased products from Beyond Meat, Eat Just, Tofurky, Miyoko's, Good Catch Foods, Fo...llow Your Heart, No Evil Foods, nutpods, Lupii, Halsa, and Pan's Mushroom Jerky. Pricing will be slightly better than in specialty stores (such as Whole Foods).
