2020.. has been a complicated year, reshaping people's lives all around the world. It forced us to get used to new ways of work, and changed the way we communicate. During this time, we have remained committed to redefining the way we engage with our guests and staff. We have taken the time to develop new menus and to invest into the bright future that we believe in. We hope the new year will bring new opportunities and perhaps some comfort to us all. WE ARE BACK (from tomorrow midday) Following the latest government restrictions and until the rules are relaxed, we are not certain about what our Christmas celebrations will look like this year. We all need something to look forward to whether celebrating with family at home or with a socially-distanced selected group of family and friends dining out. You can be sure that Food For Friends will make the Christmas season special again with our festive menus, decorations and friendly, quality service, whilst you relax in a safe & secure environment. We are also open on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day from 10am to 8pm

There’s nothing quite like the sweet smell of a local farm with strawberries and flowering lavender. Our menus are based on the very finest vegetables. July 4th. We will be back, bookings now being taken. After 3 months we are all now shifting our mindset from crisis mode to recovery mode. Government and health authorities have released reopening plans for our communities. And everyone is feeling the responsibility of getting it right as the city reopens for business. As we read all the stories about our communities re-opening, all of the focus is understandably on ways to continue to keep us apart. But one of the most n...ormal things in our lives is coming together. And that often includes sitting down with our family or friends and enjoying a meal together at a restaurant, like a beautiful one like Food For Friends. And here we are, working hard to continue to build your confidence in the measures we are taking to keep you safe in our restaurant so you can more quickly return to a sense of comfort and normality in bringing your families and friends to dine out. We are taking the decision to take the temperatures of all our team members at the start of each shift and we are supplying our staff with comfortable reusable masks made of natural organic materials. We are maintaining a 'safe distance' rule in our dining rooms. We will be sanitizing tables and chairs after each use and will have hand sanitizer available in the dining room for our guests. We have a new app where you can browse our menus, make reservation, collect loyalty for your visits and enable you to join our members club. As our teams are coming back to work we are planning rigorous training to ensure that all of our health and safety protocols are well-known and implemented. But equally important, we are reminding all our team members that they play an important role in creating a dining atmosphere that gives you a safe, comfortable and welcoming space to gather with friends and families to enjoy time together over a meal. UPDATE - Dear all As we continue to navigate the scale and impact that this pandemic has had on our daily lives, our staff and customers remain my greatest priority. I am constantly reviewing every aspect of our business to ensure we’re doing everything we can to help contain the outbreak. Throughout this period, we have been closely following the guidance of government and health officials. ... I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone that has been supporting the business lately and also those that have taken steps to self isolate themselves to protect the others. But for now, the best thing for everyone will be to stay home and stay safe. Our venues will be closing until further notice. The only place that will continue operating for the time being is our bakery @brodwolfbakery as it provides an important resource for the locals as well as supporting our employees and those in need of fresh bread, eggs, coffee, pasta, milk and other primary products to take our delivered locally These are unprecedented times, and I know that such uncertainty is often met with anxiety around employment security.
