The Pickle Barrel Deli in Jackson, Michigan

Good Morning Everyone! We know that many of you are curious about the reopening of The Pickle Barrel Deli. We haven't posted a comment in quite a while mostly due to all of the confusion during the past 5-6 months. We just want to assure you that we have not given up on our plans to reopen, but we are being cautious. The risk of reopening during such a time of uncertainty is too high. We promise that as soon as we feel confident that we can open safely, we will give you all a heads up. Until then, please stay safe and be kind to others.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! While we have run across several bumps in the road, we are making great progress. We are working hard to finish the store and be ready for inspections in December. Thank you to all of you who have been patient and encouraging. Have a wonderful and safe holiday. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Hi Everyone! Many of you have been asking when we are going to re-open, and we want to thank you for your interest and your patience. I can assure you we are working hard and are anxious to be making sandwiches again. While we do not have an opening date yet, we are shooting for sometime this spring and will update you all as soon as we can be more specific. Meanwhile, stay safe and think warm thoughts.

Hello! We hope you all enjoyed your Holiday Weekend! Most of you have guessed our new location by now...yes, the former 7-11, Heavenly Ham, and most recently, Omar's, (1221 S. West Ave. Jackson, MI, 49203). We wish we could announce an opening date, but there is still a lot of work to do on our building. We will let you know as soon as we have it nailed down.

Happy 7-11-18 (with a nod to Matthew Hurst). For those of you old enough to remember our original building, we've painted our new one using the same color scheme. We still have a lot of work to do on the inside and the parking lot, so we're not quite ready to make an announcement today. All we can say is....soon!

Good Monday Morning! We have officially secured our new location! Where, you might ask "?"....we would like to clean up and put on our new, smiling face first, but (soon).

The Heavens gained another angel last night. Grandpa Pequet is now with Grandma again...Rest easy, Gramps!
