‘I am big, I will cook’ Isaac Marwick, aged 3 helping to make mushroom soup for lunch - After 5 months of time with our 4 children and looking after my Dad (with dementia), well we’re getting geared up for school returning next week. - Despite the pandemic, we’ve been lucky to have this special time with our family. My dog is a cow magnet!! They absolutely love her!! There are two different fields of cows we pass on our walks and as soon as they see her they run up to play It was totally worth getting rained on! The Marwicks were supposed to be en route to Lake Annecy this week, but obviously, thanks to #coronavirus we’re still here. - I have to say, walking around #tentsmuir now on a daily basis, I just feel blessed to be alive and live around such beauty. (We’ve done a lot of reflection stomping about here the last few months too). - Four years ago at this time Mike and I were also in Lake Annecy . It was part of a trip round Northern Italy in our van where we soaked up all the am...azing food and came home deciding that we wanted to have a food trailer and a #simplelife - It didn’t work out that way and we ended up in premises instead and the rest is history.... - At the start of this year everything felt impossible after a difficult year health wise and life was not simple. (Make no mistake, running your own business is incredibly hard). We craved change and wanted to keep our staff in jobs and so came up with the idea of Planted. We were just about to take on premises and then came coronavirus. - Being at home and watching Mike make food and teaching our girls how to cook, well I’d forgotten that’s why we started this in the first place. We just wanted to make people happy serving them tasty vegan food......... I think more than ever it’s important for us to fill our bodies with #nutritious #vegan food and to be #veganfortheanimals and #veganfortheplanet - So thank you so much for all your lovely messages and checking in with us for the last few months. It means the world. - We were getting ready to start doing home delivery through Planted, however we miss being Marwick’s and we have found a way to return to the root of what we always wanted to be. - The plan is to corona proof our business and make it work for our family. We want to be able to deliver you food at home, live cook food, deliver sandwich platters to your office and still sell our sustainable retail products etc etc etc... - This has all just fallen into place in the last few days and we are working on the finer details, but it’s just to let you know Marwick’s is back #marwicks #vegandundee #veganfife #veganangusandtayside #veganscotland #goveganscotland #govegan #supportveganbusiness
